I grew up in a family that was passionate about Ohio State football, Jesus and the Church, in some ways it was the default “Ohioan American” identity. But when I was 13 God began to truly move in me and around me. And at a Christian music festival, I was transformed in a single moment into a new person who loved Jesus and wanted to live for him alone. I went on to pursue a degree in Student Ministry and recently have been working on my Master of Arts in Theology. I married my wife Brittany in 2013, and moved to St. Louis 8 short months later as I answered God’s call to serve as the Student Pastor at The Journey West County.
We have lived in Kirkwood for four years and we absolutely love this city. You will often be able to find us having dinner at Billy G’s, grabbing waffles at the Saturday morning farmers market, or enjoying the Thursday evening Summer concert series in Station Plaza. My role at Redemption is to be the vision-caster, teacher and culture-leader of the church.
My prayer for you is that you would meet God in a mighty way at Redemption through relevant teaching, passionate worship music and through the real love and generosity of Redemption’s people.
