Re-opening FAQ
Do I have to wear a mask?
We ask that you follow current guidance around mask wearing given by the local authorities. We will not be 'policing' mask wearing, but we are happy to find a comfortable location for you to worship with us in-person if you would prefer extra distance from those who may not be wearing masks.
Will Redemption Kids be open?
Redemption Kids is open for ages 6 weeks -2nd grade. Check in starts at 4:50pm. An activity bag is provided for grades 3 and up or for any kids who attend big church with their parents. We also have a wiggle room available where parents can watch the streamed service and supervise their children while they play. Inside the wiggle room is a private room for nursing moms equipped with rocking chairs, a changing table and screen to watch and listen to the service. Each week we share meaningful age specific kids content here.
Will you have communion? Coffee?
We will have individually-packaged communion "kits" available. For the time being, we will not be offering coffee (which makes us sad, too). We hope that by 5pm you can fill yourself with enough caffeine to make it through the service.
What precautions are you taking?
The building will be cleaned before and after services. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the building.
If you're planning to join us in-person, we ask you to do a quick self-screening prior to the service. Answering "no" to the following questions means you are good to go.
-
Are you showing any flu-like symptoms?
-
Have you had a fever of 100.4 or higher in the past two weeks?
-
Have you had prolonged exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19?
-
Are you awaiting test results for COVID-19?
-
Is there any medical reason why you should avoid large groups during this time?
I've never actually been to an in-person service at Redemption. What can I expect?
