Living for Jesus is an ongoing commitment. From declaring our trust in Him and getting baptized, to sharing our faith with friends and inviting others to church—it's something we can strive to do each day.
My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. - Galatians 2:20
connect in circles
You can be inspired in a row, but life change happens in a circle. We want to help you connect to community at Redemption by joining a community group.
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another. - Hebrews 10:24-25
spend time with god
God invites us to spend time with him on a regular basis. We can do this through things like prayer, singing, reflection, and reading the Bible.
I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. - John 15:5
make an impact
Make an impact by serving others—at home, in your church, in your neighborhood, and beyond. Join an Impact Team at Redemption, and serve alongside your community group in your everyday circles. Just as Jesus served both those who followed Him and those who didn’t, we do the same.
Use your freedom to serve one another in love. For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” - Galatians 5:13-14
grow in generosity
God has called us to grow in generosity—not just occasionally, but as a way of life. We live this out by sharing our finances, time, and talents, trusting that everything we have comes from Him.
I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ. - Philemon 1:6
